Overview
More
Green Olive Tours has departures from Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, & Tel Aviv. The company is a cooperative of Israelis and Palestinians, and is a social enterprise focusing on cultural and people-to-people experiences in Palestine an Israel, visiting religious and historical sites, villages, refugee camps, and off-the–beaten track locations. Our guides are knowledgeable and illuminate the culture, politics and history of the Palestinian and Israeli people. Each day-trip is unique. You might find yourself having lunch with a Palestinian or Bedouin family one day, then meeting a Samaritan priest the next. We offer daily tours and multi-day experiences that include home stays in Bethlehem and Palestinian villages. Our tours benefit the local people.

Super tour, getting a more balanced view. It was great to get the Palestinian point of view which is completely missing in the media. Our guide Amro was excellent well informed and a great communicator. Went to Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, but the...More

We actually changed our trip itinerary around entirely to go on this tour and it did not disappoint. We really wanted to see the Machpelah/Al-Ibrahimi Mosque and had an incredible tour not only of that but of the old market place in the old city...More

The one-day tour to Bethlehem is a good way to get a peak into the West Bank and into the mentality of Palestinian men. The tour guide, Yaman, is a jovial guy who, despite his thin knowledge of history, does not hold back his opinions....More

Barbara - Thanks for this feedback. Please note that none of the other reviews of this guide's tour have accused him of anti-semitism. The vast majority of reviews are quite complementary of this guide. However I will certainly have a word with the guide. Our...More

I recently finished the 4 day Introduction to Palestine tour. It was enlightening, educational, engaging, fulfulling and enjoyable. My tour was actually 4 days of separate day tours packaged together with accommodation and transport included. This wasn't clear while booking and I thought I was...More

So happy we did the greater Jerusalem tour. Yaniv and Ismail took us to see the other side of the city of Jerusalem that is not so accessible to tourists. Yaniv explained very easily the current situation in the west bank, not taking any particular...More

My wife and I greatly enjoyed the day spent with Green Olive Tours. It was the most interesting thing we have done on our Israel trip so far. Biased...probably, but the sights you will see confirm much of what is said and show the tremendous...More

We had a private tour with Muhanned, (not Muhammed) a contract guide for Green Olive. We saw the tragic division of the Palestinian community by settlers. This is contrary to international law, the prospects for peace. It results in tremendous mistreatment of fellow humans. The...More

We took two Green Olive tours during our Israel trip March 2018. One in East Jerusalem was informative about the political and supposedly security rationales for the Wall, plus pointing out settlements in the Old City that we'd walked right by in previous days. During...More
