Located in the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem, the menorah is over two meters in height and, according to the info I read about it, is plated with 43 kg of gold. The square surrounding it seems to be a popular meeting place among locals.

The Menorah is behind glas and near the Western Wall. We came there by accident and so it was nice to see. It is really huge!

We came upon this huge menorah on our way to the Western Wall in the Jewish Quarter. It is outside encased in glass. It is really beautiful.

The Golden Menorah is not often shares by the locals or by visitors. Most people are awe struck by the wailing wall that they miss the Golden Menorah. The Menorah is a 7 lamp unit. As per Talmud the 7 unit lamp it is not...More

Located in the hill just above the western wall is this monumental thingy. It's a giant menorah. That's it. I wouldn't go out of your way unless you really like menorahs or candle holders.

The Golden Menorah is not a destination in and of itself. It is along the way on the long climb up the stairs from the Kotel to the Old City (there are 134 steps going from one to the other - yeah we counted).
