I visited the Convention Palace for an outdoor concert in Murad's Castle as it is called. The ambiance was really cool. Here you are partying in what must be some very old ruins (I'll admit I didn't do the research), but they had uncomfortable plastic seats out and the arrangement of the seats was even less comfortable.

Cool ambiance though.

With almost 6000 seat auditorium and many conference room, this modern structure is a masterpiece of architecture and modern facilities; It is located in the Solomon Pools complex (named after Sultan Suleiman the MAGNIFICENT}. It is about 4 miles from the Church of Nativity, and probably the closest forested area to the center of Bethlehem.

Outstanding modern concert hall/theatre/opera house with numerous rooms for meetings, conferences, weddings etc. Very spacious public areas.

The small museum in the same complex but a separate building was fascinating.
