Very Good Museum

We stopped here while touring the West Bank with Beyond Borders (reviewed separately). The museum provides a very good history of Palestine. The introductory movie, in particular, is extremely well done. There is also an art gallery upstairs and some art by Banksie before you enter the museum.

Don’t miss this if you’re in Bethlehem.

Highly recommended.

very interesting and informative

Plan couple of hours to visit this museum, it is well spent time. though one-sided the museum offers an interesting thorough overview of Palestine recent history, and there is plenty to learn from the info and data-rich displays. a few weeks went by since my visitm but some of what In saw still makes me thinking about the situation in the part of the world.
great the ambiance and the atmosphere of the hotel, where at the bar you can get fresh drinks and good snacks

You really need that drink at the bar after going from informative room to room!

The breakfast at hotel is lovely. I like the pretty porcelains using at the restaurant . All staff are very helpful and friendly.

First stop on a visit to Bethlehem

This should be the first stop on anyone's visit. Inside the curiously curated walled off hotel, is a small walk-through exhibition, nominal fee 20 shekels, outlining the Palestinan historical events. There is tasteful video, memorabilia, and recognizable significant players that have impacted Palestinian life.
And added bonus is the delightful lounge area of the hotel serving coffee, tea, meals and the upstairs exhibition of local artists
