After days of viewing beautiful mosques and other "old" stuff this provided a great change of pace to see some cool contemporary art. Our daughter (7) was especially thrilled.

As Salt art galery also on busy shopping street Istiklal Caddesi. Interesting exposition of contemporary Turkish art. No entrance fee.

A beautiful location conveniently situated on one of the main shoppimg streets of Istanbul. We saw a mesmerizing exposition on Marc Quinn. If you happen to be in the area any time soon, I would most definitely recommend it.

This is a free contemporary art gallery with four or five floors of exhibition space. We saw a lovely exhibition that used the space well. A second artist was in the space at the very top. A good (free) brochure took us through the exhibition...More
