Galata Tower in Istanbul has relatively many visitors. The location is close to small shops selling local products such as foods and beverages, souvenirs, clothes, bags, etc.

Great place for an overview of the Bosphorus Strait and the skyline of the European side of Istanbul with Hague Sophia, the Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque, make sure you go for the sunset. Buy the ticket before you line up outside by the red kiosk which looks like a bus, you go up by elevator, just go all the way, one more set of steps for the best view, circle around, take photos, rest and go down by the stairs, amazing experience while enjoying some history insight and passing by the souvenir shop (nice but pricey)

This is not super high rise tower, but since there are not many high building around, you can enjoy nice view of Istanbul. Could see Aya Sofia and blue mosque in far away. Going up is easy by elevator, but coming down was by staircases.
