Spent an hour at the museum today. They have several skeletons. It is small but well worth the time.

Sadly when we were there in July 2018 the Museum was closed for renovations. I am not sure when it will reopen so I would check before making the effort to go there. I was very disappointed.

The museum is being updated but it is still worth a visit. Baatar Rex was rescued from the USA, after it had been illegally shipped from the Gobi Desert.

I love the subject of dinosaurs and although there were some interesting exhibits this is not a place I would recommend to visit if time is limited. It took me about 45 minutes to get round and frankly I was expecting to see much more....More

Small museum with 3 halls, one of them recently opened. Amazing collection including fossiled fish, eggs and of course dinosaurs! It's good to support Mongolia's effort in getting back fossils that have been exported/sold out of of the country.

I was expecting a bit more from this museum than what was actually on display. There is an extra charge at the entrance for those who want to take photographs. The trouble is that there's not really much to look at. I left slightly dissapointed....More

Growing up reading Roy Chapman Andrews adventures in Mongolia and China made this museum a must. It's small but that makes it manageable. They have two full skeletons mounted. It was interesting to view the egg nest fossils up close. The displays are in English...More

Okay so they have a few interesting dinosaur remains in this museum but over all the space they had everything in was too big, when you walk in your expecting there to be a lot more, when in fact there isn't much there. Some of...More
