Lived in UB almost 20 years. We always stop by the square with guests. Here you’ll find the Parliament building and a giant statue of Chingiss Khan on his throne. It’s not spectacular but it’s significant. Distances to cities all over the country are measured...More

A must see if visiting Ulaanbaatar. I live here for months out of the year and this is one of the most visited sites. Please alot of travel time in UB because the traffic is so bad.

The large square on Peace avenue is dominated on one side by a long low building with a big statue of Genghis Khan taking pride of place in the centre. There is another mounted statue in the square as well.

Very Windy when arrive and some tourist hanging around for picture taken. A place for you to picture. I didn’t enter the building, only hanging around out from the building. Few local selling drawing skin and magnet / key chain. Nice building but nothing else.
