We were there during summer so we did have plus and minuses like always. Pluses are price, location, size of the apartment, quiet area. Minus- It might be a problem if you are without car and kids who do not like to walk((.

A great example of historic restoration. Loads of cafes, interesting shop owners who are happy to engage you in conversation and lots of cobblestones.

Definitely worth taking the audioguide. It's very useful and the route is easy to follow. It was the highlight of my visit in Baku and it offers plenty of opportunities for beautiful pictures.

Hi, I just saw your question, you can go to the restaurant Shirvanshah which is old town Baku. The traditional dances start at night i would recommend calling in first and booking a table. Regards, KhawlaF
