Baku has several such monuments dedicated to ordinary people doing their every day job. Most of them are around the Fountain square by the pedestrian Nizami St. This one is at the beautiful Baku sea side promenade. Sympathetic photo op.

When we were there was just before the entrance to the closed off area for the F1. Normally the park. Nice startue, one of many in the city.

The city street’s are full of artifacts and monuments, and it is said that there is no house in Baku who have at least a single art work in their house, in fact they have artistic soul and it was clearly visible, while roaming.
