This is statue is devoted to a famous bolshevik commander during the WW1 and bolshevik revolution Hayk Bjshkyanc (Gai). The street is also named after him - Gai avenue. Right behind the statue is a huge park.

Absolutely huge statue at the northeast end of Nansen Park. Statue is surely of the Soviet-era. Hayk Bzhishkyan was a Soviet military commander of the Russian Civil War and Polish-Soviet War. The park is very nice, with a small monastery and museum. Take a stroll...More
