Our Main Tour covers almost all points of interest in the small center of Yerevan (the circle on the map), plus detailed info about history, art, cuisine, architecture, cultural and night life, etc. It takes you to back alleys and hidden places as well, lasting around 3 hrs and covering almost 5 km. We meet at 5 pm (17:00) by the entrance to the History Museum on Republic Square. Look for the guy with the beige side bag. The tour is in English. We finish the tour in a local bar, give you a free copy of https://web.facebook.com/BackpackersMapYerevan/ and insider info on where/how to go to other sites and do things in Armenia. Guests can stay longer in the bar for drinks or food if they want to. By reservation ONLY. Please send a message to our facebook page or whatsapp our phone & we'll get back to you to reconfirm. As with all free walking tours around the world, it works on tipping the guide at the end. It's up to the traveler to decide how much to give. We have other paid tours too.

The tour helped us understand Armenia's position in the world in the past and now. We loved learning about the architecture and history. This tour is a must if you're serious about learning about and appreciating your travel destination.

The first thing I do when I get to a new city is find a walking tour. I want to learn the lay of the land. And guides are a good point of contact to ask questions to settle you into the new environment. Vako,...More

Did the tour with my two friends on te Friday evening. Despite having to leave early for a prior appointment we all thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Have done a walking tour in Prague, New York, Bilboa and Moscow and this one was equally as good.

Vaco's tour of Yerevan was fantastic. Although we have been to Yerevan many times, we were shown interesting and historical things that we would never have been able to find on our own. It is obvious that Vaco loves his city by the pride he...More

Valid, was great. He was informative and fun. We had a lovely group of about six people, which I think is quite a small group for Vako. We saw many of the sites in the town centre and he told us quite a lot about...More

A brilliant way to orientate yourself to the maze of Yerevan. Vako is engaging and able to share interesting and entertaining stories about the city. A great way to learn about Yerevan whilst making a few friends all no the way.
