Great place to visit. Heaps of food, drink, and hangout options available. Fun place to do some exploring and see what HCMC has to offer.

The comparisons are odious, and I agree with #Ariel F. We liked the atmosphere of this street much more than that of Khao San Rd in Bangkok. You can enjoy a table of all the environment, people and groups that come and go, you have...More

Great place to start your night out. Cafe Bia 100 has 20 k red saigon beers that are actually cold. Have a few and move onto one of the little restaurants in the alley ways for dinner.

At night the arena moves into an honky tonk mode, with plenty of restaurants spilling onto the road, lots of bars - some quite dubious - along with a deafening cacophony of motorcycle horns, thumping techno music issuing out of the buzz and the bars...More

Definately the place to go if you're looking for a place to party in the evening with large crowds in the street.

The Walking Street is the place to be if you're looking for a night out of partying! Therr are numerous places to hangout along the street and it's awfully quite noisy with music over blaring each other from each establishment. I went there alone and...More

Very good question. Tet day, most workers will go home for holidays, so expect empty streets, lack of services. Only few places open, but this street is for tourists, you never know.
