Vibrant street for any time of the day. Bars and restaurants are always open, with plenty of shops and even rooftop gems to visit. Fun environment.

The backpacker area of Saigon is a very bright and noisy place to be at night time. It's exciting and really has some good points, but for me, the constant harassment from touts and local vendors + beggars - along with the huge parade of...More

This would probably be the most lively night life in Ho Chi Minh, and it would be good to walk down the street and immerse in the sights and sounds of the night life scene, Beware of touts and pickpockets though.

This place is busy and the streets are closed to traffic after 7 PM. Very busy but a great place to people watch if you can take the crowds.

Cool, but you have to look for the right or secret clubs :) don't be afraid to explore ;) many girly bars, a lot of loud music, clubs, bars, rooftop bars, western food, it's backpacker central!

Very good question. Tet day, most workers will go home for holidays, so expect empty streets, lack of services. Only few places open, but this street is for tourists, you never know.

By taxi is the best way to the backpackers street. Takes around 35 -45 minutes depending on the traffic. If you have uber then I recommend to use that instead as it's cheaper and you don't need to worry about getting ripped... More
