You can see it from all areas of the city stands out with its 265.50 meters high, you immediately notice the large protruding terrace that is a landing area for helicopters.
We went up to the 49th floor where you have a 360-degree view of the whole city. We arrived at sunset time when the sun ⛅ set on the horizon behind the city what a spectacle. I have to say, it's quite impressive to see how the hectic traffic of the city moves. Nice to see is an opportunity to see the city from another angle. A forgot you pay the entrance About 250000 dong 9/10 €.

The greatest spot to watch the sun set over this enormous metropolis, with breathtaking views of the city. Binoculars are excellent for identifying locations in the city we have already seen, and it is quite participatory. Great places to dine after sunset in the area.

My first skyscraper, lovely experience. You can arrive until the 49th floor with a very little cost. I suggest to visit it around sunset, all the commercial area and the skyscrapers around will sparkle of lights. The view is at 360° over the town, unfortunately the reflection of the internal lights troubles the pictures and you need to writhe in order to find the right spot.

Fantastic 360° view of Saigon from the 49th floor of Bitexpo Financial Tower. But unfortunately the chairs available are few and the small ones unfortunately could not carry me (120 kg) so it collapsed.
Maybe you should consider more "nomal" seating optipns for those of us who are heavier and partly disabled as I am. I my case nothing happened, but better safe than sorry , or maybe you will get "sued" by someone less fortunate. Just saying.
Remember the case in the USA were McDonalds was sued several mill $ , for not warning that the coffee was hot. So more chairs and advice people that are heavier set not to sit on the " plastic" chairs.

This one is at the ground level at Bitexco Financial Tower. It's the 2nd tallest building in Saigon, we can see it, and an easy walk from our hotel.
The Tower has a simple lobby. The lower floors have a shoe bazaar, a famous hotpot from China - 海底捞 Haidilao that offers free nail polish service.

We went there around the sunset and the view from the top was amazing. Yiu can see not just the buildings but also the water and a bridge.
Our ticket had 2 bottles of water included. That we had to go and pick it up from the skydexk level.

During our business trip we visited the Bitexco Financial Tower in Ho Chi Minh City. The state-of-the-art stunning architecture was impressive, but the interior was more ordinary than expected. Unlike the stylish appearance, there was no special impression. If there's time left, you can check in, but it's not a mandatory course.

The entrance ticket costs 240,000 dong to be sent to the 49th floor and discover the city from above. It's always nice to gain height but it's even better when you better understand the geography of the places that you discover through explanations: locating the buildings, giving their names and their functions. We don't feel welcomed, there's no chair to sit and admire. It's a shame. Bottled water is available. There is a nice little exhibition on the Ao Dai.

Bitexco used to be the tallest HCMC building for a long time, but not anymore.
It was surpassed by Landmark 81 which was built further north along Saigon river.
Despite of that, it remained Saigon landmark and a much better attraction imo, offering great views of downtown area where it's located.
Most important is to pick a day with little or no haze, as it can spoil your experience.
Also, try to be there before dusk to get both, day and night views.
Many here complain about the entry fee of around 10$. It is little bit higher for Vietnamese standards, but have in mind such sky decks in US and Europe cost 30-50$, so I don't see a problem with that for tourists.

You can see a ton from above if you climb to the top of the Bitexco tower. The contrast between the new skyscrapers and the more historic structures (like the Opera House) was fascinating to see. There is much of history inscribed on the walls to learn about, and it is not pricey.
