We stayed in Saigon a total of 5 nights, and came here about 4 times. It is a quiet, peaceful location. The treatment rooms are air conditioned. The staff is very capable, and will give you the best massage ever. The technicians concentrate on your treatment, and do not chat to each other, which is even more relaxing.
We are both in our young 60's, and prefer soft and gentle over the pummeling massages. That's exactly what you get here if you request. Everyone understands what you request, so no language barriers or misunderstandings.
To get to the spa, you need to walk through the first floor jewelry shops towards the back, where the stairs take you up to the spa, which is on the second level. The receptionist speaks perfect English. You are served tea both before and after your treatment. Credit cards are accepted.
We give our recommendation without any reservation. This place is excellent. After your massage, two doors down there is an air conditioned cafe/bar/bistro where you can plotz in a comfy chair and hold on to your new energized body for a little while longer.

I have visited this spa every time I have come to HCMC.
During my first visit in 2015 it kinda looked shady but the subsequent visits I have noticed that the management has changed and the therapist are genuine.
Have had the coconut oil body massage and the foot massage and they are both very reasonably priced. Walked out of there after both of us had been pampered for 150 minutes each and paid about US$80.00 including hefty tips.
Planning a trip every alternate day while here.

I was looking for a place to wax and I occasionally arrived in this hidden place upstairs from the jewelry in front of ben thanh market.
I did a full leg wax and I was so satisfied with the kindness of the staff and the quality of the treatment that I spontaneously came back the day after for the coconut candle massage, simply wonderful.
I definitely recommend this place if you want to treat yourself at a really good price.

Having spent the day on the back of a motorcycle exploring Cu Chi Tunnels, I need a massage. Having had a quick look at trip advisor for nearby massage places, this one came up. Whilst only having 2 reviews (1 5 star/1 4 star) we thought we'd give it a try.
We both went for the Swedish massage for 300k. I ended up with a male masseuse - it would have been nice to have been given the option of who massaged me!
For the whole hour, it seemed like he was just rubbing baby oil on me. At times did it feel like he was actually massaging me, however, most the time, my massage involved gentle squeezing and poking of real little benefit.
At the end of the massage, the guy said I pay at the counter but give him a tip there. Based on my experience, I should have asked for money back if anything.
Very disappointed. This is the first negative review I've given, but I really cannot find any positives to me. Maybe they would give better other types of massages, but for the Swedish massage, I'd avoid that. You can get better massages elsewhere for a similar price.

First and foremost, We thank for your comments about our Spa. We will have a solution for this problem after overlooks.
Besides, We also have the appropriate punishment for the male attendant who had wrong actions to our customers.
Ben Thanh is a traditional spa, almost applied products are coconut origins not baby oil as you recommended. Moreover, we always take care of our services and improve more and more day after day. Therefore we never allow somebody to treat our customers wrongly or even impolitely.
It is our pleasure for us to serve you one more time and we hope that you will feel comfortable and awesome to be back in the future.
Sincerely Yours,
Bến Thành Spa.

Went there as a couple third time this week and still can't get enough.
A 60 minute coconut scrub foot massage and a 90 minute body massage. All in including a 300K VND tip totals to CDN $60.00
How can you go wrong. No conversation with the therapist about any tips. Only questions they would ask if the pressure was okay.
One of the best places I have had a massage in the Far East.

After shopping in Ben Thanh Market, we walk out and passby a row of building and saw the Ben Thanh Spa Signboard. You cant see the spa directly as it is located on the second floor. When we went up, the lady boss was very friendly and host us. They serve us tea even though they know we might not do the massage today. We saw the price of the spa was quite reasonable and of course is definitely cheaper than our hotel. They use coconut oil and even coconut candle to do the massage. The ambiance is good and comfortable. We done Thai Massage on that day and as well as foot reflexology the next day.
If you are looking for massage that is cheap and good near Ben Thanh Market, you should definitely go and try it.
