Excellent, informative museum. We spent about an hour here but only because we had to leave at closing time! I recommend allowing at least 1.5 hours.

We were recommended this museum by a friend however it was disappointing. It’s interesting for a while but gets quite boring and somewhat repetitive. Some interactive exhibits would be better. The audio tour is 2.5hrs long. If anyone stays and listens to it for that...More

This was on my list of not be missed when visit g Hanoi. I am so glad I stuck by it and took 2hrs to really go through the museum. The entrance ticket is 30k Dong and you can get audio guide for another 30k....More

Several blocks south of Hoan Kiem Lake, but worth the walk. Lots of exhibits about women, also video presentations. Historical displays, and dress over the ages

If you want to learn more about the life of Vietnamese women through the past this is a must. From the clothes worn over the ages to the hard life through the war. I found this museum very interesting.

Yes it does. Make sure for the little extra you do the audio as it is well worth listening to the stories.

I think it is 8am to 5pm. I recommend the morning if walking in August.
