It has some beautiful dresses and other little pieces but isn't the best place to visit if it's too warm as there's no air con. It was also a little run-down and some bits were dark making it difficult to see the exhibition. There were...More

Information heavy but very informative and divided logically into different sections looking at marriage, birth, fashion, history and present day.

Fascinating insight into Female culture in Vietnam and of how women are valued in this society. Very interesting to learn about birth practices and rituals and family life . Great photos and artifacts on display.

I was really pleased with the accounts in this museum. The colorful clothing and a few head pieces reminded me a great deal of Peru, I couldn't believe it! It was incredible to learn a little about the Mother Godess also.

Small interesting museum about Viernamese woman. Few different sections. Regulary different display of photographs (mostly about minority/hilltribe woman). Also woman who are decorated for their service to the Vietnamese community.

The museum is enjoyable and staff are friendly. However, although elements were interesting, it was boring in parts. It was also extremely hot due to lack of AC in certain areas of the museum.

2-3 hours. The nice thing about the audio guide is you enter the number for the display you want to hear about. Two of the floors we listened to almost all of the audio guide the last floor we listened to maybe one or two.

Yes it does. Make sure for the little extra you do the audio as it is well worth listening to the stories.
