Interesting architecture ok for a quick had to see it. Won’t do it again. Streets are crazy congested. Best thing is to find a round about, kick back with a beer and watch the scooters do their thing. New appreciation for Asian driving.

I didn't do any foodie tour so can't really help you but the hotel I stayed in (The Hanoian) has lots of local tours including foodie tours.
