Entering this majestic church is like walking into 1886, as little has changed since it first opened its doors.

Open to the public with no fee. The best way to tour is with a college student who will give a tour of the city with no charge but please tip them. The best way to arrange this is with your hotel travel agent. The...More

It is a nice cathedral but once again needs funds to keep it in good condition. In a way the mould on the outside walls gives it a nice old look. Very popular with Vietnamese getting married and having photos taken. I think it is...More

I was interested to see a cathedral in a Buddhist however this place had barriers all round and it was not possible to enter. I would love to see inside, maybe next time.

St Joseph's has to be seen in "the flesh" to really appreciate how stunning it is. The inside is interesting but it is the exterior that really stuns. Don't forget to walk around the building to see the mosaics on the walls.

One of the most beautiful French buildings in Hanoi. They preserved it really well and you definitely can join the praying ceremony on Sunday morning. Quite crowded all the time. It's much better to find the coffee shop then enjoy the nice view.

Attended a Sunday mass in here and what a big crowd. The mass was in Chinese (in which we cannot understand) but the people's participation was terrible. They were very active! They respond, sing and chant. Better than in some Cathedral in the Philippines lol!
