Took a chance and attended the AO show. Really glad we did. Great value at US$37 per head. Show went for a little over 1 hour. Definitely a must see.

A stunningly, beautiful building in Hanoi modelled on the Palais Garnier in Paris. Built by the French colonial administration it is an architectural landmark not to be missed. We did not get to go inside, but the street view is enough.

You can only go in during a performance and when we were there, the performance was held at a different location. I was bummed to not see more.

The Hanoi Opera House is a very comfortable venue. I saw "My Village" a sort of Cirque d Soleil knockoff using bamboo props. The dancers were energetic and the presentation kept my attention. Nice evening.

Although we only viewed from the outside a number of times, this building is beautiful and unique. To further add to the external experience was to enjoy the outdoor performances on the steps to the Opera House. If more time was available we would have...More

Hi, You can google Hanoi Opera Tickets. Or, if you are staying at a major hotel ( Sofitel is the best ) the Opera House is literally twp blocks away and you can walk there to get tickets.

I think you have to go to a show but there is a bar so maybe during show times you will get in. Hope this helps. Others enjoyed the show we didn't rate it.
