Must visit part of Hanoi. An interesting museum that everyone who is interested in history should visit. I spent an hour or so here just wandering through the exhibits learning a lot about local history.

I would highly recommend this experience as I learnt so much about French colonialism in Vietnam and the treatment of US POWs during the American War. Great exhibits and wonderful to see the female inmates so well represented.

Worth a visit is very barbaric how spoke were treated by the Europeans The exhibits are in english as well and it does take time to read them all there are a lot of exhibits

This museum/old prison is very impressive. The ticket price is only 30.000. You should really go there if you want to know more about the history of Vietnam (and during the war). The pictures, rooms and cells are really impressive. Must see in Hanoi!

It was an interesting museum with majority of the signs in English. It was worth a visit, especially as an American. Very interesting to see the “American” War from another country’s perspective
