It costs 2000 Vnd to enter, which is the equivalent of 3.5pence in UK currency. There are lakes, trees, kiddies play parks, peacocks and people having picnics and exercising. There are cafes where you can enjoy an ice cold drink fresh from a coconut and shady...More

Monkeys kept in barren cage with no stimulation. They look so sad, one was staring out of the bars of his cage with such a sad look. Why keep them there? So pointless! Peacocks cage was equally depressing.

Open air with many trees and a big lake, a nice quiet place inside the busy streets of Hanoi, but there are animals kept in very small barren enclosures. Not much else to see there

If you need a little break from the city, the gardens are nice place to walk around and enjoy some greenery in the middle of Hanoi. There isn't much to do but take a little break, drink a juice.

Not a botanical garden but more of a park. Very depressing animal enclosures! I wouldn't bother, especially if you only havr a few days in Hanoi.

If you know anything about trees, or just love trees, this is the place to visit. For only 2,000 VND, you can spend hours here, strolling around the two lakes, visiting the tiny pagoda or just admiring the mighty, statuesque trees. It may not be...More

A nice park for a wander around away from the busy city centre. The foliage is beautiful in the summer.

There is nothing to see but some grass and some badly kept peacocks. The ticket staff are rude as well.

Absolutely nothing to see. The whole place exuded neglect - it was dirty. The monkeys in the cage were in a terrible condition - they looked clinically depressed. Their cage was filthy and there was nothing for them to do -no apparatus;no food, etc. Appalling....More

Dogs would have to be on a lead, I don't think there would be much of an issue though. Most dog owners walk the west lake but again, your dog would have to be on a lead. I haven't seen any area's in Hanoi where dogs can have... More
