This museum has it all -- extensive collections, a super modern building, a café, & a prime location adjacent to the Halong Bay (stunning views) and with an open green plaza on one side, the visual connection with the nearby, modern Quang Ninh Exhibition of...More

This is a very big museum. It is clean and airy with lots of very interesting exhibits. You might need a guide unless you understand written Vietnamese. Ranges from pre history to coal mining and Ho Chi Minh.

Interesting museum about local culture and way of living of these people, one of the few places in Vietnam not crowded and therefore plenty of space and time for every body to see well all the goods exposed.

This museum is cool to walk through. Surprisingly there are a lot of beautiful photo spots here! We came during a weekday so there weren't a lot of people :)

A modern, well-resourced, brilliantly-planned, interesting and large installation on Halong bay. This multi-level architectural monolith houses several different themes and demonstrates Vietnamese origin specific to the region, by displaying archaeological, biological, geological and cultural artefacts. The building is surrounding by thought-provoking sculptures and war artefacts....More
