There are many different elephant experiences in Thailand. Choosing one that helps us understand a little more about these beautiful creatures is quite hard! My wife and i decided to expose our kids to a more ethical experience since learning a little more about various...More

5* experience for all ages.. you really do get hands on feeding and scrubbing elephants in a mud spa, then swim in a lagoon with these gentle giants. If you only do one thing while visiting Phuket this should be it. Very informative and a...More

Elephants are adorable and the sanctuary improved my awareness about them. The tour is very interactive, including 3 feeding times, a mud bath, and a wash. Food is decent (not amazing), has a mini cooking demonstration cooking pad Thai (but not a full cooking course)....More

Hi, I do plan to visit the park soon and I think what your park is doing is amazing and a great sea change for Thailand. But I do have some questions based on the stances taken by other elephant sanctuaries in Thailand (specially the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary in Paklok ~ there is a section on their website all about the ethical issues posed by bathing with elephants) on bathing with the elephants and stricter limits on the numbers of tourists during interactions. I remain totally open minded and I am in no way an expert, I just want to know more about why you do things the way you do them :-) . I wondered why your stance is different ~ allowing interactions during bathing and taking perhaps slightly larger 'small group' interactions when compared to others? I aim to take the VIP program for the sole reason that this seems to have fewer guests ~ have you considered only offering this program and not the larger group interactions? I also would like to know if your elephants get regular and long break periods in between interactions and days off during the week (I assume they do). Thank you so much in advance :-)
