This temple is close to the old city gates. It is built at right angles to the road. The entrance bell tower was the most interesting feature. The stupa looked very similar in design to a few I had seen elsewhere.

Undergoing maintenance with construction materials everywhere and all the buildings locked. An unusual ho rakang or bell-tower near the entrance with pyramid shaped roof decorated with naga. Stupa is of common Burmese style with square indented base with faded stucco and bell dome in gold...More

A largely unvisited temple, possibly because it is currently undergoing a very significant restoration. Very simple in design, but does have an appealing exterior.

Lovely little temple, was the first we visited on our self guided morning walking tour of old city, starting from the Tha Phrae gate, and moving into the old city toward 3 kings. Google search to find walking tour maps.
