This small temple was such a nice respite from the insanity of huge crowds at many others. There were only a few people here and most were locals worshiping. Since there were few tourists, I took up my guide's offer to participate in a specific...More

We came across this temple quite late at night as we were wandering through Chiang Mai. It was quite dark and the monks seem to be clearing up. Noice temple with interesting architecture. As we went to leave we noticed that they were just about...More

We saw a lot of temples in this area, but this one was a nice small one to see. I suggest doing this temple along with others to get a comparison of big to small.

it is a small temple with not too much of a design but very peaceful and calm inside. a well maintained garden surrounds the temple. you will find monks mediating inside.

Charming, cozy temple. Late afternoon (approx. 4pm) chatted with one of the monks and followed him and other monks into the shrine for a moving chant. Contemporary illumination of the Buddha statues inside the shrine. Small, neighborhood temple, but welcoming and powerful.

I like coming here to relax, letting mysefl get mesmerized by the changing colors on the main Buddha, which I find quite peaceful. Either before or after, I might stop to eat in either Bodhi Tree Cafe across the way or Taste From Heaven or...More

Lovely Wat within the walls of the old city. Very clean, beautiful landscaping & peaceful. The lights on the Buddha statue change colors, haven't seen that before. They also offer massage & monk chats.
