Maybe I was not trying hard enough, but couldn't find an open ticket booth despite 2 different scooter trips when it is supposed to be open...maybe there are sporadic events? Never got to go, not saying its a bad experience...would likely try again on a...More

Went for a night of Muay Thai at The Thapae Stadium, and was pleasantly surprised. It was an a fun night watching 7 matches of fights. Definitely keeps the crowd entertained, a must visit while visiting Chiang Mai.

First of all... This IS a tourist trap. Some locals, but not too many. They're likely there just to bet (take advantage) of tourists. The fighters are very lackluster... Most of them are just children! Some older lady fights... Blind folded fights with several "boxers"...More

Fixed fight, expensive, no thaï people only tourists... and the fighters are just kids! Around 12yo to 16yo. The speaker is a white man... he seems to be in charge of this mascarade. A place to avoid for sure, except if there's no catch show...More

Alot of 1 star reviews saying this venue stages fights. Although this may be true on other night the event I saw definatley wasnt staged. 7 fights including a thai blindfolded fight which is worth a watch. Good price, friendly enough staff, solid evening :)

We really enjoyed the Muay Thai fight. The Arena itself is not much but there really are no bad seats as the ring is raised. There were six fights the night we went and the fights are one after the other with no break in...More

To fully immerse yourself in Thai culture you have to experience Muay Thai in some way. There’s a few different venues and “stadiums” for fights each night of the week but this was the best one. The VIP seats are higher up and you can...More

We really enjoyed our night at the fights.  The fights are definitely real (except for the blindfold match).  I think some of the other reviewers may not know much about fighting - not every matchup will go the distance, and not every fighter will risk...More

There were some exhibition fights which previous reviewers may have called fake, but there were also some very excellent real fights. We really enjoyed our evening.

An embarrassment to the martial art, all fights fixed in favour of the host club. Blind boxing is disgraceful, they're not actually blindfolded. Having trained in Muay Thai and attended many Thai events in lumpinee and rajadamnern stadiums I found the 'display' here a mockery...More

I believe they have fights every day of the week. Check for the posters around town or stop into one of the ticket vendors.
