This museum is a great introduction to Northern Thai lifestyles, culture, beliefs and religious practices. It’s small enough that you can actually read all the signs and plaques and go through all the rooms in order. But there’s a wealth of information – more than...More

I was wanting "more information" after viewing this museum and the other two were not open the day we were there due to no available electricity. Appealing to the eye. Just thought that they repeated some things and didn't touch on other areas but perhaps...More

We found this museum after coming to see the Three Kings Monument. The interns at the front desk talked us into getting the ticket for all 3 museums, which sounded like a good way to get out of the heat for a few hours. We...More

A very rich in detail museum about the day to day lives and culture of the Lanna people who inhabit the Chiang Mai area. A must for anyone into culture and history.

It was a nice way to spend an hour or 2 out of the sun while checking out Chiang Mai. Hubby and I are history fans so enjoy museums but I would not say this is a must.
