At this bustling night market you’ll find stacks of pubs, restaurants and shops all built in to & on top of cargo shipping containers. Choose an upstairs bar to catch every sight. It’s young, bright and buzzing here - and generously sized drinks are beyond...More

I'm the local who usually spend my time at the gym in Esplanade, and go to night market for some time. The place is exotic for tourists mostly Asians, some Westerners. I'm sure you can find a variety types of street food there which are...More

We caught the MRT to the Thailand Cultural Centre Station and then followed the crowds past the Esplanade shopping centre to find the markets. It was very busy but there was a huge selection of street food - deepfried jellyfish, any meat skewer you could...More

My husband and me took a taxi to transfer from and to hotel. You have to bargain with taxi driver to get a fair price or convince him to use the meter. Market is "split" into 3 areas: Clothes market, food court surrounded with restaurants,...More

Remember to go around 6.30pm onward so you can capture the night sunset view of the Ratchada market. Have dinner there, and after dinner you still can walk around to get some snacks and local souvenir. Must eat the salt fish and local delicacies ....More

Amazing food options and shopping in this small packed area. Great prices for many different types of food and slightly classier stalls encircling the central mass of vendors. Definitely worth a visit at night with an empty stomach!

Fantastic market split into 2 distinct areas. One side is a bargain clothes market selling everything from underwear to “genuine” designer labels. The other side is far more interesting, with all sorts of Thai and wider Asian food being available. Lots of vendors selling salted...More

I live locally to this market and I come here often for food or drinks. The bars get very lively with young Thais on the weekend. Grab some food from the market and settle down for a few drinks and watch the world go by....More

The market is 50% clothes, 45% restaurants/bars/food and the remainder is cell phone cases, and hipster barbers. Worth checking out for the food options but not much variety in the other stalls. Use the bathrooms at the adjacent mall which you can also cut through...More

Once you are there, you will spot plenty of bars to choose from. The ones at the northern end are the best for pictures.
