Great way to travel around the city. Fast and brings you to major shopping centres linked to the BTS. Crowded during peak hours but trains are frequent. Wished it has more escalators. Good thing it has intsalled lifts at least to accommodate people with luggage.

Convenient and easy even for first timer in Bangkok. Only two lines, but has couple of stations that connect to underground MRT

We travelled on the skytrain and found the trains really clean, the staff were very helpful, only difficulty was working out which side of the station we needed to be on!

As the roads in Bangkok are so congested the skytrain is an excellent way to get around. We used it a lot and it was really simple and cost effective

Thais are generally kind to the elderly. But BTS is another story as didn't see much good access for the disabled. Some stations do not even have escalators, just stairs, plenty of them and my wife, who has back problems... More
