Beautiful and interestig visite of the house. Don't try the restaurant which is overpriced as you would expect. Only annoying thing : tour visit is mandatory for everyone which is a pity!

Entrance fees is required and it comes with a guided tour. A short 30 minutes tour and it will bring you around the house of Jim Thompson. You can also get your items from the Jim Thompson Shop after the tour.

Great way to learn about traditional Thai way of building & living, combined with a brilliant way of recombining this all into a more modern view.

I always go back to Jim Thompson house as much as anything because of the house. The Jim Thompson name evokes such romantic but sad memories - the house is part of the story.

The Jim Thompson House is one of those very special places only small museums can let you feel, it has just this "human touch" letting you well imagine what Mr. Thompson's life had been. Even though very well visited, everything is well organized, very calm,...More
