The trains are clean, efficient and cheap. Directly linked to the airport terminal in the basement. The number of not working ticketing machines is frustrating. But there are staff who were quick to help.

So easy to use. After you grab your things, go downstairs and the station is right there where the train can take you into the city.

Taking the Airport Rail Link is the fastest method to enter Bangkok from the airport. Price is dirt cheap and service is fast and frequent. It can get pretty crowded during rush hour.

I have to admit... This is one of the best ways to quickly get into the city. Follow the signs to the lower level at the airport, but a token and take the amazing ride into the city. Does get full at times.

The rail link is timely, comfortable and does the job. However taxis are so cheap in Bangkok you will probably get a Grab from the airport to your location more comfortably and quickly unless it is rush hour. In rush hour the train may be...More

Phaya Thai is definitely best for getting on. As you say it is stop no 1 and a 30 min trip to Suvarnabhumi.
