Can't see much good stuff here, but since it is located not so far from town, and on the way, if you go to world peace temple, it's still okay to see. The entrance fee is 30 Npr which is also cheap. But the parking...More

Imagine parking in front of a retail store in downtown Kathmandu and finding out you are at Devi Falls. A passageway through lots of vendors leads to an overbuilt concrete plaza with more tacky shops. Nothing natural to be seen. Everyone heads to the right...More

You get an opportunity to see the wonder of nature. The water falls down at great speed in good quantity. Once it falls, it disappears into the ground (underground natural tunnel). Walk through the cave to have the real picture of vanishing water after fall.

The history is that a lady named DAVIS fell into the falls and got drowned. The original name was Davis Fall, and has now become Devi Falls. No Devi is there. The view is exciting.

Although the water level was low the falls were still worth the visit. The walk down to various vantage points gave you a different view each time.

Can be missed. The cave nearby was also closed for maintenance. So give both a miss. Go for paragliding or ultralight instead.

It’s a complete waste and artificially created buzz about the place to make money out of tourists. Completely avoidable.

Devi's fall is covered in the local site seeing in Pokhra. It's in the city itself. I think it is worth visiting. Two sight seeing attractions at one place the Devi's fall and Mahadev cave.
