Not only are their products beautiful, useful and practical the organization itself truly has an immense positive social impacts in the region. They employ hundreds of women from different backgrounds and needs in making their products and thus help support hundreds of families.
Shopping their items, you know you will not only have amazing stuff to use and wear but will also directly support the livelihoods of these families.
Their shops (Woven) in Lakeside are really nice but it's even better to visit them at their factory just outside Pokhara (45 min walk or quick taxi). You can buy stuff there but even better, you can visit where they make the products to understand even more how it's made and who's making them. Plus their dog is super cute and sometimes its cute puppy is there too. Well worth a visit!

Handmade woven products, excellent organization. Go to the factory outlet (45 min walk from Lakeside) for a wider selection than what is carried at Woven stores. Also, slightly lower prices as well.

This place is a shop and a factory as women are weaving and sewing and running the business. If you want an excellent souvenir of your travels I recommend coming to support these women as they use their skills to be self supportive. I got a really nice bag with their Nepal logo on it for such a reasonable price. I have to travel light but a bag like this or a scarf will always find it's way home with me as it reminds me of my trip and it just feels good to shop good. The shop in Pokhara is Lakeside 6 near the the Hotel Barahi but they also have one in Kathmandu.

If I had more room in my luggage I would have bought most things in this shop. Everything was beautifully made and being sold at reasonable prices.
Best quality products in Pokhara!

Go here. This place is beautiful.
All handmade products and for a very good cause.
It’s a little more expensive than anywhere else but it is worth it and not that much even so! The products are very good quality and for such a great initiative!
I went to two of the stores in Pokhara. One is a little bigger and offers more.

The title of my review sums it all. I love that the store is pretty with a lot of pretty stuffs from bags, pouches and miscellaneous. I visited the store in pokhara and also one in thamel area of kathmandu. Love their products as they are pretty well designed, finely made and the price is very reasonable. Totally love that they are supporting women. Awesome job. My only regret is I did not buy more stuff.

This shop is very nice ! I bought a lot of gifts for my family and friends ! All the products are handmade by Nepali women who are part of the association, which is a good motivation to buy some gifts there !
The products are very good quality, a bit more expensive than what you would find in other shops in Nepal, but I thought it was worth it !

Such a great initiative, empowering woman and showcasing local skills. The products are beautiful, well designed and very high quality - well worth the money! The o my problem is deciding what to take home with you!! I loved everything!

Also, I found out too late, you can do a sewing class at the Work shop to make you’re own iPad, laptop or phone case. Check out their website.

All the products in this store were beautiful... it was hard to decide what to pick. Instantly you can tell the quality is good and strong. The sales assistant didn’t annoy or pressure us either into any items, she was happy to leave us look in peace, yet was friendly. I very much appreciated the time to browse and admire the products. The price here is also set.... I really really liked this! Negotiating prices constantly gets old so it was very refreshing. Also peace of mind in knowing that it is a Fair Trade Org. The range of products was great too... a variety of bags and purses, cushion covers, and toys.
I will visit again next time I am in Pokhara!!
