Nothing to see in this location. A coffee shop (Illy), a few handicraft stores and youngsters hanging out in the evenings.

Don't miss it. There's is something always going on this square. Street plays, some events or anything. This place come alive in evening. Sit down in a cafe take a coffee or any drink and enjoy with locals.

Clock Tower is hardly an attraction. Roadside market is a bigger attraction to buy cheap Bhutanese scarf, shawl's, purses, hand made paper stuff, etc

Good to take a walk around the local market and reach watch tower and relax for a while. Children play football around watch tower. It was relaxing to sit and watch the game with cup of hot coffee.

The square provides social linkage for tourists and the local people. I observed festival gatherings, musical bands, and restaurants nearby, which I found interesting. The tower is smaller than I expected but it is just beautiful.

It is a landmark of the downtown Thimphu, but there is of course nothing comparable with Times Square. As I visited there, there are few people.
