You get to see one of the biggest books in the world. Photos are allowed. But please stay quiet as it's an active library and there are people using the library to read/research. There are two floors so be sure to visit both.

The best bit of this visit for me was the photographs of the current and former rulers of Bhutan. The library contains many examples of Buddhist scripture - which goes way above my head.

We wanted to come here to see the biggest book in the world. It turns out to be just a large binder of posters put together. Not worth a visit.
