Plenty of people visit this garden. Locals and school children as well as tourists. Museum at the back is another attraction. Big fish in the pond and and assortment of mature trees and palms give shade as you wander around.

It is a small garden in st. Denis, nothing special but a museum inside for €2. We spent a few hours in st. Denis before catching our flight home.

The lay-out of the garden is dull, at the verge of being ridiculous, it lacks information on the species and seems to be badly kept. Don't waste your time going there.

A couple of large pond and walkways leading to the Natural History Museum do not make for much of a 'jardin'. Sadly we found it hard to be impressed after reading the torist blurb.

It’s a botanical garden in the middle of the city of St. Denis which used to be called “Jardins du Roy”, This name was given to a garden created by the “Compagnie des Indes” (Jardin de la Compagnie) upon its removal to the present site...More

you need to go through it to access the museum d'histoire naturelle, so you look a bit around...but there is not so much to see, apart some big trees
