The Mesquita da Baixa is a beautiful immaculate building in the old part of town ("a baixa"). Built at the end of the 19th century, the mosque and its 6 minarets have been regularly maintained and restored. It belongs to the Pakistani Muslim Association. Still...More

After a stressful trip from Boane, I needed to observe my solaat and the closet mesquita from where I dropped was this beautifully designed ornamental masjid. You have to be more focused not to lose concentration.
