Beautiful waterfall, although does not have a lot of water flowing through it and it's not an enormous waterfall that might be expected. But it is nice non the less and worth seeing if you are a tourist in Mauritius. Ok for a quick stop.

The viewpoint on the chamarel waterfall offers an amazing view on the actual waterfall as well as on the verdant surroundings. It’s in the same place as the seven coloured earths so you really should visit both, they’re definitely a must-see in Chamarel!

It's a nice view and the waterfall is OK. But way too far away to hear the water or get a good look Good for a quick stop on your way to other attractions.

Quite narrow but tall waterfall falling into what looks like a crater. It is a stop on the way to 7 coloured earth. It will not take more than 15 minutes as you can only watch it from the viewing point.

It was difficult to identify more than a couple of different colours of soil. I really didn't like the fact that they are starting to 'farm's the surrounding lands for ? Commercial purposes. Appeared to be palm trees? Oil. Not good.

As we visited during a time of drought, we were not surprised the waterfall wasn't carrying a lot of water. It was nice to look at either way and still the most impressive waterfall we saw.

High and a great view but lots of folk at the key view area. A slight incline walk to view it. It's not Niagra but in it's own way worth seeing.

You have to pay 200 rupees per person to get entrance to this national park up on a volcanic mountain approx 600meters after a long and winding road. The waterfalls are nice to look at but nothing like the victoriafalls in Africa. I is combined...More

I guess if you visit Mauritius this is one place you must visit. The views are quite impressive and nature is so serene. Also this place offers a picture perfect opportunity that should not be missed.

Hiya! I don't think that both these activities would take a whole day, but if you include travel from flic en flac then maybe it maybe a half day tour. Most of the sites which are on tripadvisor are in the south. Tour... More
