Must visit on a clear day.Its an interesting walk around the crater which gives you awesome views of the countryside and if you are there at sunset time,oh boy! the heavenly play you will see..unforgettable !!

When we asked our Tour Guide if there were any Volcano’s in Mauritius he answered by taking us to this place.
So if you are interested in seeing dormant volcano craters then perhaps you should stop at this place and take some pictures.

This volcano is around 85 meters deep and more than 200 meters in diameter. We came here with a car, so there is free parking lot. Not a lot of people in the morning, so you can enjoy taking a pictures.
