The tour company was really great and all stuff as well, they provide me what ever I requested and I really enjoy my 3 days trip to Danakil tour.

Reliable, good and high-class trips and tours. I travelled Ethiopia for more than a month and I am a 100% sure this is the most professional conpany you will get.

We traveled with ETT for 21 days. Well organised ‘meet and transfer’ system, but poorly organised in the central office. Cars generally in good condition with very good drivers (with one exception) but most of the guides had a poor command of English. The best...More

We visited Addis, Harar, Bahir Dar, Gonder, Axum, Mekele, Danakil, Lalibela, Arbaminch and Turmi. ETT were the fastest agency to respond to our planning request, they listened carefully to our wishes and were flexible when we changed our plans due to weather. The drivers were...More

I really struggle to write this review because a lot of what we experienced on the trip was incredible (even with 47°C heat!), but there were some problems that just shouldn't have happened. Different people on our tour had different experiences. We were in a...More

We spent a month in Ethiopia, mostly in the North: Addis, Bahir Dar, Gonder, Simien Mountains, Dabark, Axum, Mekele, Danakil, Harar, Adam few other little stops along the way. ETT seemed to have one thing or another to do with most of the journeys and...More

We have been on a 3 day Danakil tour with ETT. The guide and the drivers were amazing; attentive, proactive, friendly and had a very good team spirit. They made the best out of our trip. Just one comment; the office should stop charging different...More

This review is for the 4 day/3 night tour in the Danakil Depression. First I will mention that my ETT tour was actually a subcontract arrangement through my main tour organizer in Addis Ababa, Withness Ethiopia (Ermias Negussie), and a subset of a broader tour...More

Just finished 10 days under the care of ETT. Started off being picked up in Gonder, for three nights in the Simien Mountains. (Great hiking, despite it being rainy season). The next three days were spent being driven to Aksum, and then visiting the rock-hewn...More

I read in this forum it is advisable to purchase your domestic flight inside the country. I booked ETT via email. The company staff Sunight was very helpful and booking was easy. I did not have to worry about anything. I flew in with Turkish,...More

Hello, about 3 hours and this is enough, if you want you can be there for a little bit longer. Don’t forget it is very hot place! But also also very interesting. The whole experience is amazing.

This Casie Martin wrote on TA After reading reviews in places I was surprised at how false those were. ETT was amazingly run!! I had originally planned to go with worldsun Ethipoia travel and they cancelled the day before. I emailed ETT and they organized everything perfectly and for a great price too. I landed into Mekele airport and they were awaiting for my arrival and took me to their office to meet the others for the tour. There were 21 of us in total and 4 of us inside a Jeep (comfortable with air con) also or driver. My driver Wondmagegn was INCREDIBLE!!!! The tour I went on was 3 days and 2 night Danakil depression. It was more than what I expected. I had heard that the food was average but it was actually great! I advise you to take some snacks for in between. I was glad I did! Sleeping is basic and exactly what they state. Take your own sleeping bag or a liner. On the trip we visited the salt miners (Afar people) and after reading forums I decided to take donations with me such as sunglasses, eye drops, gloves for the men. Also stickers, toys and stationary for the children along the way. Others on the tour said they wish they had known to bring donations as I was the only one so please consider this! A huge thank you for all the drivers and guides and also the ladies in the office. Everyone was so so sweet, kind and helpful!
