Walked from our Hotel to the Medina. Nothing to get excited about! The usual vendors selling their wares, small food stalls etc etc...dirty uneven streets/lanes, would not like to walk around when it rains

A great place to wander about and browse the wide range of product on sale. A nice atmosphere, clean and friendly. Recommended.

We enjoyed the Medina of Rabat, it's a nicer atmosphere than the one in Fez and much less busy then Marrakech and Fez. You don't get harassed here like in the others. It is also much cleaner than Fez. The only thing to watch is...More

The Medina in Rabat is one of the best ones I have visited. You can can find almost anything here, the people are very helpful and friendly. Great shopping, good food and great time.

Definitely a must see in Rabat. The area is near the sea and the air is great. The market can be a bit too crowded. Prices are very high... you can get most of these items elsewhere for less.

By far my favourite Medina in the whole of Morocco, alongside Fes's. It isnt such a maze, making it easier and safer to navigate. Shopkeepers arent as near as aggressive than for example in Marrakech. Prices are mostly much more reasonable than elsewhere, since Rabat...More

Whilst planning my trip to Morocco, everyone told me to skip Rabat; however, I think it's one of my favorite places in Rabat. It's so under-rated; but a big plus for me; less tourists, more authentic culture. Love the winding roads and the people are...More

I really liked this medina, very little touristy and essentially frequented by the inhabitants of Rabat. while walking its streets I learned a lot about local habits. Inside the medina are some good restaurants, so you have to ask them why they are difficult to...More

I've also loved this relatively quiet medina. Not as big as the ones of Marrakech or Fès, yet it has its own atmosphere. And, for the record, prices of handcraft goods are more "realistic" than other cities...

This Medina is a great place to shop as it isn’t as hectic as Marrakech or Fes. There is a newer section that doesn’t seem as dreary as the older places. Not far from here is the old Jewish Mellah with its terraced buildings indicating...More

Or, if you are brave enough you can walk into Medina and grab some street food. I am taking about Rabat Medina though. It's bustling at night with food stalls, very lively. Note - I am talking about Rabat Medina. Don't... More
