Close to the Marrakech museum and the Medersa Ben Youssef, this place is worth visiting and sometimes exhibits temporary art works.

This place is wonderful! We went to see the “Femme gravee” exhibition there and it was well worth the visit. Great insight and beautiful art

This is near the Medersa Ben Youssef which is currently closed for renovations; but you'll probably walk down the passage to get to La Maison de la Photographie so stop here on the way. It's lovely old riad that's been converted into an arts space....More

Conveniently located next to the Museum of Marrakech. The space is a beautiful building used for cultural and arts programs. It's worth a quick stop as it's bright and pretty, otherwise it's not a very big complex. Of course it also depends on the quality...More

Located in the middle of the Medina, it was a small, but nice, surprise. The building and architecture are wonderful, with tranquility that is refreshing after the markets outside. As for the content: the current exhibition is on the performers in Jemaa el-fnaa, including documentary...More

I discovered the Fondation Dar Bellarj by accident, after being curious about the little doorway on the corner beside the door of Medersa Ben Yousef. Admission was free and inside was a fantastic exhibition about storytelling on Jemaa El Fna. It was very interesting, varied...More

This was our 3rd visit in 3 years! we love it here. There's always something new to see and the current exhibition about the performers of the Djemma el Fna is brilliant. It's on until May 2016 and it's well worth allowing a couple of...More

This beautifully-restored building is right in the heart of the souk by the Ben Yusuf Medersa. I can't quite picture how it must have looked when it was a hospital for storks but I love the very idea. If I were a sick stork, I'd...More

The new Halqa exhibition is an excellent exploration of the performers from the Djemaa el Fna square. As someone who doesn't speak Arabic it is obviously very hard to truly appreciate the storytellers in the square but this exhibition with English translations opened up a...More
