We visited the Bahia Palace with a guide which was the best way to go as we learnt heaps about the history of the palace. The palace is located in 8 hectares in the heart of Marrakech. The Moroccan royals often stay here in a...More

Well, we did not get a guide, and I still regret it. Out travel book didn't say much about it either. The place is green and red and blue, very much colorful, the architecture is amazing. Apart from Transylvania, I never thought so much could...More

If need to pick just one place to Marrakech to see wonders of ancient architechture, culture and rich heritage, this is the place. Internal decoration is uncomparable. Mix of all religion and their unique representation is a great lesson in our current confusing time about...More

A really nice palace in the heart of the city. The history of the palace is interesting and the layout, tile work and architecture make this a good place to visit. It was crowded when we were there mid day, but the flow through the...More

We stumbled across this on our way from the Badi Palace. Lovely gardens lead up to the palace. Inside, ceilings are ornately painted, woodwork is intricately carved and beautiful tiles adorn the coves in the courtyards. For 10 dirhams entry, it’s well worth a visit.

We visited with a guide which I recommend as he gave us a good history of the Palace and its inhabitants. The rooms and mosaics are stunning. An oasis of calm in the city.

One of the best preserved palaces in Marrakech. I returned to Marrakech after a few years and the palace was given more rooms for sightseeing after renovation. As in the entire Maraoku there is a problem with descriptions in English. So let's read about the...More

We visited on a medium hot day (38 degrees) but there is no opportunity to buy water once you have started. Lots of rooms, lovely architecture, nice to hear about Muslim/Jewish synergy. Not very historic, early 20th century. Loverly diversion, takes about 1.5 hours if...More

Probably one of the nicest places for a 5 year old to be able to have space to roam. Not overly busy compared to majorelle gardens.
