Another gem within the Medina of Marrakech. Parts were closed for renovations but still able to view many rooms, courtyards etc. Fantastic stucco decorative work in many parts. The work that must have gone into buiding the palace is incredible. Cost of entry?.....less than £1....More

The 19th century Bahia Palace is a beautifully preserved gem located in the historic medina of Marrakech. The palace has more than 100 rooms, courtyards with lush gardens, and elegant decorative details. The rooms include tiled fireplaces and floors, colorful stained-glass windows and beautifully painted...More

A beautiful palace but it was a shame I didn’t know what I was looking at. No information in English. If you are going make sure to bring a guide book so you’ll be able to put what you’re looking at into perspective.

We visited the Bahia Palace, but I was a bit disappointed because it was so wall to wall packed with visitors. The few areas we actually got to see were dazzling, but you could hardly see anything on the amazing ceilings because you couldn’t lean...More

This was a great representation of the tradition of architecture in Marrakesh. We wen with a guide and appreciated the experience so much more as he explained the cultural meaning of the details in the design of the walls, structures etc.

Very cool mosaics but pretty packed - as most tourist destinations are. Definitely worth seeing! Avoid people on street telling you it’s closed and telling you to go somewhere else.

You want to get to this Palace early because of the numbers of tourists that go thru it. I hasn't changed much since I saw I saw it 15 years ago.

Probably one of the nicest places for a 5 year old to be able to have space to roam. Not overly busy compared to majorelle gardens.
