This is a very touristy square, with prices 3x normal. However, there is a nearby street with nice hardware stores, a market with excellent produce, and some alleys with good spices where a local chef recommended. This picture is from the most touristy spice shop,...More

On your Way to The two Palaces you might come to this place. Its quiet, there are some shops (cheaper than in The Souk) and there are some cafe’es, that make great food. I Can really recomend The cafe called snack Ferbantiers, in nr. 8....More

This was five minutes walk from our Riad. We came here often to eat, browse the shops and just hang out.. Restaurants are basic but wholesome. The spice market just off the square is interesting.

Just around the corner from our Riad, the square became our go-to place for food, a drink or just to chill a bit. There are some great shops, the Jewish market is well worth a visit and the square is well-placed for a number of...More

There are a couple of small stores. It seems like the square was renovated recently and looks clean. Some shops show fixed prices, which is rather fair or even a lot cheaper than the main souk. Staff are friendly and not pushy at all. You...More

We liked this area and went to an open cafe several times, just to sit and watch the world go by. Apart from the women selling bangles, not too much hassle. Some interesting shops and workshops.
