this is a very big field planted with palms and olives the most popular trees in Morocco in the middle there is a very big artificial lake for irrigation the water comes from the Atlas mountains by canals.

This is a relaxing place to take a stroll around on a warm day. This is free to enter the gardens. There is also the large water basin which is fed by underground channels, it looks quite spectacular.

Nice walk and discovering 12th century site, although avoid hottest hours as there is not much shade on the central walking path. Great for kids too, and very well kept. Water of the pavilion though seems quit dirty. Any walls that have history (and more...More
