There are plenty of good things to see in Marrakech without abusing animals and getting monkeys to wear football kits. If you want a photo with a monkey go to the Rock of Gibraltar and ask the free monkeys kindly for a selfie.

This place is best visited from 6pm onwards. Go to a cafe with a terrace for best views of the square. Locals and tourist frequent this place alike.

Yes - you should be fine. Very busy but perfectly safe if you keep your wits about you. Have a great trip. I would happily go back and plan to at some point.

We pretty much walked to it however we did take a taxi twice to some other places and felt safe. You could ask your hotel to organise a taxi for you as that's what we did. But when in the square you need to be persistent and... More
