Desert Agafay and Atlas Mountains & Camel ride Day Trip From Marrakech

1,898 reviews
Morocco’s Agafay desert lies within day-trip distance of Marrakech, making it an easy alternative to visiting the Sahara Desert further south. With this private tour, save the hassle of an independent trip and combine the Agafay with a journey into the Atlas Mountains. Explore Berber villages and souks; cross the Kik Plateau, and finish with a camel trek in the Agafay before returning.

How to describe something that is indescriptible. A unique place, a happy messy, joyful colorful combination of folkloric music shows, traditional dancers, street food stalls, cheap souvenir shops, snake charmers and fortune tellers, packed with tourists and locals. Don’t hesitate to wander and get lost in the narrow streets of the souk around the square: a feast for the senses. I think I actually found a word to describe this incredible place: exoticism!

Excellent guide, and good fun on the quads. They don't seem particularly well maintained - mine cut out a few times and had bald tyres. Nice surroundings, and a few drink / smoke stops - but beware they'll give you a bottle of water, let you open it and then charge you for it.
