My wife and I did the 4 day desert tour from Marrakech to Fez and it was awesome! We were lucky enough to have two guides join us on our private tour, Omar. From the start we were talking, laughing and joking, the tour quickly felt like a road trip with new friends which was great. Omar was also very open and kind, knowledgeable and eager to share their country of Morocco with us. We felt safe and well taken care of throughout the trip.
When it comes to the sights and experiences you will have, all I can say is that the Sahara is a magical place. Like something out of a dream. I highly recommend booking a buggy to watch the sunset from the top of a sand dune, super fun! You will see a lot of Morocco and learn a lot about the country and the culture.

Excellent Marrakech Medina Tour as a couple
Fantastic tour! Saleh provided insightful history, explanation, and context throughout the walking tour that enriched the sites we saw and passed through. It was excellent to see and stop at each of the destinations, but equally enthralling was the conversation Saleh provided about the cultural norms of the people and the spaces that we passed. Multiple people greeted Saleh with a handshake and an embrace as we walked through the kasbah and the old medina, showing just how familiar well liked he is amongst the community he grew up in. There was some demolition and scaffolding up around certain sections of the medina from the damage done by the earthquake, but repairs are clearly underway, and the solidarity of many shop owners is clear in the restoration efforts. Would recommend to anyone looking to get their bearings and create a basis of appreciation for the city before doing too much self-exploring.

We booked a private day tour around the city of Marrakech with Saleh. He was very professional and tailored the tour to our wishes. He came directly to our riad in the Medina to meet us. We asked for a walking tour of the Jewish quarter and the Bahia palace, and then a car transfer to the Jardin Marjorelle with a drive around the new city. He was very knowledgeable and also a lot of fun. After our tour we had him drop us off at the Bacha coffee house. That’s a must see in Marrakech. It was worth the hour and a half wait. You cannot make a reservation there. We highly recommend texting Saleh and using him for a tour. He answered right away. A couple of days later we booked another day trip to the Atlas Mountains with his company. He did not accompany us personally but sent another guide and nice car. That was an amazing tour as well. Reasonably priced and well worth it.
