The Orientalist Museum of Marrakech offers a wide view on the cultural history in Morocco through an exclusive collection of Orientalist paintings (from Delacroix to Majorelle), and precious antique artpieces of moroccan artcrafters. The building is a typical Saadian Riad from the end of 17th century. From the terrace, the visitor can admire an exclusive panorama of the city and the Atlas Mountains.

Wonderful collection of art and antiquities in a stunning restored Riad. The views from the roof terrace are worth the visit alone. Lovely to have the opportunity to see some beautiful pictures of Morocco as they are a rarity in the UK.

This brand new museum is absolutely charming in both container and content. We found it quite by chance and it had just opened! A serious collection of paintings among which 3 Jacques Majorelles, a lovely Dario Mecatti, in a delightful context. Some nice furniture too.
