Just a small fountain inside the medina, with lovely colourful mosaics. While it is very popular, there are equally if not more beautiful sights everywhere in Fes,

Located outside the Carpenters museum this is the fountain of good fortune where locals come to drink. Colourful and photogenic. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

I arrive to Nejjarine Musuem of Wood Arts and Crafts before the massive doors of wood and steel are open. I rest against the outer wall and hover the edges to dodge raindrops. The metal details of the door are impressive as well as the...More

This is one of the original water sources for the Medina - you'll probably walk past it without noticing so look out for the mosaic façade. The little square surrounding the fountain is also quite attractive.

The fountain is often missed by many tourists walking by. The wood crafts museum on the left of it is also a missed gem. I found the museum inside to be so fascinating. Don't just stop at the fountain and make your way inside!

Not just the fountain, which is amazing, but the doorway to the wood college and even the beams around this square, which used to be the horse souk, are beautiful and seem to be unchanged for years.

Nice mosaic fountain in the Fes Medina. I wouldn't say it is a must see but you'll probably wander past it once or twice whilst in the medina.

This is a modest element on ones stroll through Fes. Not to be missed, it is one of many local fountains that would have been of enormous importance in the past. Fes is full of such incidents.

A small sunny square with a zellij tiled fountain where the locals come to drink is also full of small boys selling paper napkins. They should of course be in school, buying from them doesn't improve their life in long term, just keeps them on...More
